R.Srinivasan, Director & Head, ATG Practice
Srinivasan (Srini for short) is the founder director and head of the ATG practice at Vamsoft. He has over 10 years of experience in management and IT.
He has experience in the domains of eCommerce, being a lead consultant to many Indian SI clients in the implementation of eCommerce application stacks and the Banking and Financial industry, having helped banks like Standard Chartered, Dubai Islamic Bank, etc. in the evaluation and implementation of various solutions.
Some of Srini’s career highlights include:
- Program Management of a large Telecom Major’s ATG based portal and integration with Siteminder.
- Transitioning a multi-million dollar ATG project from a US vendor to an Indian SI, by doing the KT on the client side at US.
- Devising the stack recommendation and leading the implementation roadmap for a large eCommerce transformation initiative for one of the biggest ATG implementations for an Indian SI.
- Training various client teams on ATG ecommerce and making them project ready.
- Designing and implementing an MOM based EAI layer for one of the bigger Islamic banks in the middle-East.
- Extensive experience in performing tuning and conducting code and design reviews of various J2EE/Java based applications across other industries including IVR systems, Finance Gaming sites.
